Karen

Karen Reczuch
Illustrator

Karen began her formal art training by majoring in commercial art throughout her five years at College Avenue Secondary School in Woodstock, Ontario. A three year illustration program followed at Sheridan College in Oakville. After spending some years in commercial design and illustration, Karen travelled to Cote d’Ivoire in West Africa where she spent two years as a designer/illustrator in support of a literacy and Bible translation mission. Karen continues to round out her time with educational work and commercial illustraion in association with her studio partners. One of her most recent books, Salmon Creek by Anette LeBox, was awarded the BC Book prize in 2003.
